Lionel Jung-Allegret


Lionel Jung Allegret was admitted to practice before the bar in Paris, France, in 1989. He has taught at Versailles’ University.

Subsequently to political science studies, Lionel Jung-Allegret had studied law and philosophy of law at Paris II Assas University (undergraduate and master degrees at the Institut des Hautes Etudes Internationales and post graduate degrees). In 1989, he integrated the school of law of the Paris’ Appeal Courts Bar.

Dividing his practice between counseling and dispute resolution in business and civil law matters, Lionel Jung-Allegret is a founding partner of the Vendôme law firm (December 1992).

Lionel Jung-Allegret assists and advises business clients and their shareholders in matters of strategic restructuring, collective negotiations, and judicial. He also focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate and stock transfers, MBOs and risk capital, including management of shareholders’ relationships and matters related to Corporate Governance, liability of directors and executives, boards of Directors and corporate compliance.

He is regular counsel to major and medium-size corporations and as such plays an active role in guiding them with regard to external growth, regulatory, contractual and corporate matters, including the prevention and the handling of litigation risk.

He devotes an important part of his time to litigation and mediation and represents his clients and their directors before various regulatory and supervisory boards. In addition, he is a recognized specialist in insurance law and was the head of Vendome’s litigation team, including arbitration and mediation.

He is Mediator at the Paris Mediation and Arbitration Center (CMAP), Mediator and Arbitrator at the French Center for Arbitration of Reinsurance and Insurance (CEFAREA-ARIAS), Founding Member of the National Center for Labor Arbitration (CNAT)
