Hervé-Antoine Couderc


Hervé-Antoine Couderc divides his time between assisting family businesses and advising capital investors.

He counsels several privately-held French companies — listed and unlisted — on their growth operations, inter-generation transmissions, and transfers of ownership.

He advises managers and shareholders on the organisation of their assets in respect of the company.

He provides managers and funds with guidance on the tax aspects of their investments in LBOs, and helps private equity funds to set up in France and with the legal arrangement of their investments with the company management.

Hervé-Antoine Couderc started practising in 1986 with an American law firm in Paris. He joined Arthur Andersen in 1991. Specialised in tax law, in 1995 he and Xavier de Sarrau created the Asset Management and Family Business department and he oversaw the development of this department as a partner from 1998 onwards. He then became head of the M&A Private Equity division and was appointed to the Executive Committee of the firm.

He holds a Master II in tax and finance. (Université Paris II Panthéon Assas).

Hervé-Antoine sits on the Board of Directors of several listed investment companies.
