Frédéric Bucher


Frédéric Bucher is a partner of the M&A and Family Business Departments. With around 20 years experience, Frédéric was involved in a variety of transactions on listed or not listed companies:

  • Merger of HP and Compaq in France
  • Merger of BCM with Wafa Bank and Wafa Assurance to create AttijariWafaBank
  • Advising MGEN on various acquisitions
  • Setting up families of funds for Turenne Capital, Edmond de Rothschild Investment Partners, XAnge Private Equity,
  • Disposal of Arkoon Networks to EADS
  • LBO over ECT Group with Chequers Capital
  • Various acquisitions and disposal on the healthcare business (Clinicprosport, SHAM Innovation Santé, Suturex & Renodex, Peters Surgical, Labco, Novexel)
  • Advising various family offices on their structuring and on their investments.

Frédéric Bucher regularly  gives conferences on M&A, Corporate and regulatory issues.

Frédéric Bucher, a lawyer and member of the Paris Bar since 1995, joined the STCPARTNERS team in January 2008 after practicing in : Poitrinal & Associés, Freshfields Brukhaus Deringer for the seven years, De Pardieu Brocas Maffei, DLA Piper.

A graduate of both the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (HEC) and the Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris, Frédéric Bucher also has a Master’s Degree in business law and taxation from the Université Panthéon-Assas.
